Help me on my ACER laptop with  vista OS. I was infected with virus, and I can't use any of my browser.  I already removed it recently with noob killer, keizer and spybot while on safemode. But when I started my computer a message popped up "Application failed to inialize 0x80070006".  What should I do to remove this.

In this case you must use better Antivirus software.  If you are using Antivirus program then remove this first and then restart your computer. After that use a cleaner such as cc cleaner, smart cleaner etc and restart again. Then install a new updated Antivirus. You may use Kaspersky sky or Norton smart security. These Antiviruses’ works better then others. You must install this Antivirus from other source not from your hard disk backup.

If you have internet connection then use it for remove this virus. There are many websites for online scanning. Log in or make a registration and then scan your computer.

Whats up Annvglenn, I can be able to solve your problem there, the main problem is usually with the system defender and corrupted registry settings of Windows explorer. In order to rectify, its just a matter of following some simple steps;

Go to Start -> Run -> Type Regedit.exe and hit Enter

In the Registry Editor window, click on File menu and click on Export

In the Save in list, select the folder you want to save the backup. In the File name box, type a name for the backup file and click Save.

Click Start -> Run, type Notepad C:Register.reg and click Ok. Choose Yes when prompted to create a new file.

Copy these texts and paste into the notepad window;

Click Yes when prompted to save the file in order to save it.

Save the file as REG file of any type.

Double click on the new file.

You will receive a message box asking Are you sure you want to add the information in the REG file into the Registry? click Ok to confirm.

Restart your computer. The process should work.
