Open source virtual image creator for building avatars

I would like to in the sense of creating "create" my own Avatar. Is there an Open Source virtual image builder that gives you option to build your own Avatar, literally?

Hi Allan,

My Avatar Editor was one of the best open source flash app, which created customizable avatars online.But unfortunately it is closed now.In my search of more open source program like 'My Avatar Editor' I came through another interesting open source image builder which is very sophisticated modern 3D mesh based avatars.Just imagine developing real looking Avatars online in real time .So without wasting much time simply visit the link below and learn how to finally do it.
