To check whether your OS is genuine or not-

1. You can go to this link to see whether your Windows is genuine or not-

2. In start type activate Windows and then press enter, if its genuine then you will get message Windows is activated.
3. Go to control panel and then system and security and then proceed to system. In that check for genuine Microsoft logo and if it’s there then it is genuine.

Method To Check If Windows Is Genuine Or Not

If you have Microsoft Windows 7 but you are not sure if it is genuine or not, there are different ways to validate the authenticity of your operating system. The first method is from within Windows 7 itself. Click “Start” then in the search box type without quotes “activate windows” and then click “Activate Windows” from the results.

If Windows 7 is genuine and activated, you should receive a dialog saying “Activation was successful” with the Microsoft Genuine logo on the side. Another way of validating Microsoft Windows is by visiting Genuine Microsoft Software using Microsoft Internet Explorer otherwise it will download a small program when you click “Validate.” The third option is from the Control Panel.

Click “Start,” “Control Panel,” “System and Security,” and then “System.” Scroll down until you reach the “Windows activation” section. It should display “Windows is activated” plus the Product ID as well as the Microsoft Genuine software logo.
