Disk Error on Fedora 16 after inserting the DVD setup disk

Hello,

I have got many software CDs with me. I like exploring all the software and to learn the new technologies. One such software is F16. When I inserted the DVD and continuing with the process, suddenly my DVD came out throwing some Fedora disk error.

Please fix this issue as I have no idea on this as I have never faced this error.

Hi there user:

There could be problem with your/the disk space that’s why the error (Fedora Disk Error) occurred. Try this (# du  -hsc /*) (# df –h). Restart your unit and then test if the error still persists.

Dear Josiemelissaa,

I understand your problem. Actually this kind of problem can happen for any reasons. It can be problem for disk space or the software you have in it can cause this problem. Sometimes windows throw away a cd when found it causes any problem to the operating system. Now a day many people use virtual cd rom to use or install software. It is very easy to install and use.
