I will not be able to open my office mails

Hello All,

I have a very old computer at my home which often crashes. I am planning to upgrade with latest version later. In this computer, I will not be able to open my office mails some times and it gets hanged.

I have upgraded the OE but still in vain. Then my friend suggested me to delete the database and reinstall, which I have done. Now, I am accessing mails but couldn’t find the old mails. Please help me to retrieve back my old emails.

Hi,

You didn’t explain what application you are using to access your office mails, but usually they are all having the same concepts when it comes to managing and archiving old mails.

In order to be able to have access your old mails you should do the following:

1.   You should locate your old database file that you know it has the most complete data.

2.   Open your mail software and search for the import/export wizard, usually it’s a simple wizard you will find under the “file” menu.

3.   Follow the wizard steps and locate your database file till the import process starts.

Please note that sometimes the import process takes long time, so have patient.
