GIMP software received a strange message

Hi I have a system of my own having Windows XP Service pack 3 as an Operating System and trying in working with the GIMP software and I have received a strange message while trying to load the script and the error is as follows.

Error while loading  /home/O/.gimp-2.6/scripts/
Ev_iccii_photoeffects.scm:
Error: unmatched parentheses:  1

Kindly provide me the exact solution for this problem.

GIMP software received a strange message

 

Hello dear,

I think you are facing this problem due to file corruption or an error occurred during the installation process of the GIMP software. This error message saying loading /home/O/.gimp-2.6/scripts/ has error while it tries to run that particular script for the software. That means the scrip that mentioned in the error is not running properly or it cannot found.

You can fix this error by manually providing the missing or corrupted script file in to correct place. But it will be very difficult to find the correct place that you need to place the file and the script file you need to place.

So the best thing I suggest you to do is re install the software or repair the software.
