Dolby Tuning and Profile Creator Setup error

Hello,

I updated my Dolby Home Theater v4 and while installing this error message box stopped the installing. When I click OK on the error all actions are rolling back and if I try to install it again the same error appears. Can anyone help me to install the updates to my PC? Is something wrong with the drivers updates?

I guess this is what other applications normally do when a failed installation takes place, the setup wizard automatically rolls back the installation removing all changes made to the system. I also experience this in several of the applications I installed and this is really normal. In the case of your program, Dolby Tuning and Profile Creator, I guess it didn’t receive sufficient rights to complete the installation and this is very common when you are running Microsoft Windows Vista and above so just expect it to happen when installing something.

To try a little work around, since you are still in the process of installing, try executing the installer as administrator. To do this, open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder where the installer is located. Right-click on the installer, select Properties, and click Compatibility tab. Under Privilege Level section, check “Run this program as an administrator” and then click OK.

Double-click on the installer to start the installation again and see if it works.
