Hello Friend,

I have a P4 computer with (1 GB Ram and 256 VGA) Motherboard Type is Foxconn, Processor 2.6. So some of my friends said install Windows 7 but I installed Windows Vista. My question is past 7 days now.

My computer is very slow like a cart, tell me what to do?

Your RAM capacity is fine and your system is also good, so there may be a problem with your hard disk. It is possible that its speed is slow due to some bad sectors, which already exist in it, due to virus attacks and for other causes. You should replace your hard disk with a new or a better one and check your system speed.

I would like to refer you to the hard drive of Maxtor, which is amazing due to its smooth working without any error. The following is the latest model of it which you can purchase from your near market.

Hi,

Maybe you do not have enough space in your memory. Uninstall programs, what you do not need and try to not run more Windows at the same time to make it faster.

To change your size of memory, you can go to Device Manager, click on Advanced and then Performance Options.

If the problem is not solved, then you can contact your manufacturer to extend your memory size. The problem was most probably caused by Windows, it might happen sometimes.
