Are Personal 3D Printers Worth It?

I'm an artist and an action figure collector at the same time. I want to be able to bring drawings to life by creating a plastic model out of it so I think 3D printers will do the job. But 3D printers are a bit expensive. Should I buy 3D printers at this time or should I wait for its future developments so it will become cheaper? And will 3D printers get me exactly what I want?

Are Personal 3D Printers Worth It?

3D printing is a procedure of making everything. It is such an advanced technology that you can design and manufacture everything that you want such as clothes, jeweler y, bags, and even motorbikes parts etc using a printer controlled by computer. The best thing about 3D printing is it’s technique of additive manufacturing.

It is true that 3D printing seems pretty impressive and is a completely new technology but on the other hand it is going to take few years in order to gain its importance.

I would suggest you not to get a 3D printer at this stage & rather wait for its future development. In the meantime you may get more experience by drawing with your hand completely & increasing your artistic skills.
