How to use 2 dropbox accounts on one pc

Hi techyv,

 I have 2 accounts in dropbox.  One for work and one for personal use.  Do I need to re-install dropbox for the second account?  If not, how to I log off from one account to the other on the taskbar so that it syncs my files for work instead of my personal files?

You can only have one installation of Dropbox on a single computer and it can only be linked to one account. If you have another account, what you can do is logging off and logging in with your alternate account on the Dropbox website. There are other two options though:

• You can create shared folders and link accounts together. Shared folders give you an option to sync files between multiple accounts.

• You can use a different Dropbox account for each user log-in on your computer. While this allows you to have multiple Dropbox folders on a single computer, you will have to switch between different user accounts to use Dropbox’s features.
