You have a problem on booting on your tablet caused by the update. Try to hard reset your tablet perhaps you will get your tablet to work again. To make a hard reset your tablet turn it off and press both the volume button and the Home button. Your tablet will start to boot and press the volume key down to select "Factory settings" and press the "Home" button. Now your tablet will start to boot and work again. If this is not working go to an authorized service to reinstall a new clean Android OS.

The ASUS Google Nexus 7 is a discontinued Wi-Fi tablet with no cellular connectivity support. It was announced to the public on June 2012 and released on July 2012 measuring 198.5 x 120 x 10.5 millimeters and weighing 340 grams. The use of SIM card is not supported.

It has LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 800 x 1280 pixels screen resolution protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean upgradable to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset, 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Cortex-A9 processor, and ULP GeForce GPU. microSD is not supported.

It runs on 1 GB RAM with internal storage available in 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB capacities. The primary camera supports 1.2 megapixels and 720p video recording. There is no secondary camera. It has 3.5-millimeter jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, NFC, and microUSB 2.0. It doesn’t have FM radio. It has built-in accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors.

It runs on non-removable 16 Wh Li-Ion 4325 mAh battery with talk time up to 10 hours. It is available in black color. If your tablet got corrupted after the update, try hard reset. To do this, turn off the device then press and hold the volume down and power buttons simultaneously until the tablet turns on. Press volume down until “Recovery Mode” is selected or highlighted.

Next, press the power button to confirm or to Enter. Next, press and hold the power button then press and release the volume up button once. Next, press volume down until “Wipe Data / Factory Reset” is selected then press the power button to Enter. After this, press volume down seven times (7) or until “Yes – Erase All User Data” is selected then press power to Enter.

Wait until the reset is complete then reboot the device. See if this works.
