Monitor turns to red then back to normal then turns back to red

I have encountered this problem for almost a week. I don’t know what was happening.

I have re-installed my Video Adapter driver and restart my computer, but nothing happened, the problem still exists.

I’m almost loosing my eye sight with this monitor. Is it my hardware or the software?

Monitor turns to red then back to normal then turns back to red

I am sure that problem is not the driver it is more on hardware. Try the following to fix the problem.

At the back of your CPU (Central Processing Unit) look for the cable tat connects to your monitor – the cable that has 15 male connectors. Disconnect the cable at both ends (from the CPU and at the back of the monitor). Then plug it back. If it is not still working push a little hard on the connector. Do the same action both sides then observe.

Open your CPU or the computer assembly; look for the Video Adapter Card or the electronic device inserted on your motherboard which connects to your monitor cable. Unplug the adapter card then clean the connector pins with erase. Gently erase the pins until the pins looks like gold. Plug back the adapter card then turn-on your computer.

Purchase a new adapter card is the last option for this problem.

Or bring your monitor to the nearest electronic repair shop in your area.

You have to bring the computer to a repair shop, it could be that your picture tube is defective or broken.

It has nothing to do with you computer software at all.

You can also switch from using an analog CRT monitor to a digital LCD monitor.

You'll have better picture and color quality.

Because analog monitors are being phased out and repair people are harder to find for them.
