Convert MAC partition to NTFS

I currently have  a MAC and Windows 7 PC and I have to transfer the files between these two computers.  My hard disk (external HD) was formatted to MAC OS.

Can some one please guide how to format HD to NTFS form since Windows cannot recognize my hard disk. Is there any application for doing this with out losing any data?

Convert MAC partition to NTFS

There is a software involved but don't worry because it is free to download. 

Step 1: Please download Minitool Partition Software here: https://www.partitionwizard.com/download.html

Step 2: After installing and downloading the software, plug your HD into your Laptop or your desktop computer.

Step 3: Your computer should detect the HD. After your HD is detected, open Minitool Partition Software and then select your HD. 

Step 4: You will then see on the screen on what format your HD currently in. You will see in the photo I attached, I encircled the "Format" button. Click the format button then it should have a drop down menu. Select NTFS as your format for it to start formatting.
