How can i get my Gmail’s attachments into Google Drive

I heard some changes are done today in Gmail so we can download all attachments in emails into Google drive automatically

Can i know the benefits and how to make this change on my Gmail account to save all attachments into Google Drive

How can i get my Gmails attachments into Google Drive

Vedsdisdice, I have a very efficient solution for your query. All you need to do are the following:

1. Open your email, where the attachments are.

2. You will See 3 choices View Share and Download.

3. Click on View

4. On the top right of the page you will see Add to drive, Edit Online , Download Original.

5. Click on Add to drive and it will automatically save it to your Google drive.

The benefits that you are going to have are:

1. You’ll save disk space. You don’t need to download and save it to your computer.

2. It will lessen your workload into browsing them all where location of the disk you save the files.

3. Prevent any damage or virus to your file.

How can i get my Gmails attachments into Google Drive

1. At the bottom of the compose window, press on the plus icon (+) which opens the insert menu.

Note

Use Gmail's compose or reply option to insert file on the Google drive.

2. Click on the Google drive icon, from the window that appears upload the file to Google drive as your saved file.

3. For files stored in your drive, select the checkboxes next to the files you want to insert

4. Click the insert button.

1. Ability to send larger files.

2. Simplify collaboration.

3. Ability to control who sees your files.
