Toshiba L300-1A3 shows black screen when booting

Hi,

My laptop was recently infected by viruses and I formatted the whole drive. After the format now my computer does not display anything except a black screen. It is running Windows 7 ultimate. Could someone help me figure out what went wrong? I need a detailed explanation please.

Hello,

I think when you format your whole drive some or all of your program files may be deleted somehow for this reason when you boot your laptop it shows you a blank screen.

You can now easily solve this problem. To solve this you can try to reinstall Windows 7 in your laptop. This will solve your problem.

Your laptop may be having a problem with illumination, just boot it and when its finally on presumably by listening the windows jingle, shine a torch on the screen to see whether its normal. Try also to connect it to an external monitor and see how it behaves,
