How to remove administrator.bak profile safely

Hi,

We are having an issue with one of our software tools in our office PC. Pardon me, if I cannot specify the name of the tool, but actually it is not really the reason I posted.

Whenever the said software will not work on any of the profile, we have to do is to run the software in administrator, then once back on the normal user profile, it works. Now, it won’t even run on administrator. I am thinking this is related to administrator. Back profile I am seeing. Please advise.

Hi Jake,

I don't know if the solution to the software problem will be solved by removing the administrator profile, But the way to remove it safely is here-

1. Click Start (Windows button).

2. Go to Programs.

3. Then Accessories.

4. Click Command prompt and then. Right click it and Run as Administrator.

5. Next click continue.

6. Type "net user administrator /active:no" (without quotes).

7. Hit enter and reboot.

Hi there, I have encountered the same issue previously. In fact, you could keep this command conveniently for use. You can do several things from this account.

To show account type, enter net user administrator /active: yes’.

Change ‘No’ to ‘Yes’ to hide or change ‘Yes’ to ‘No’ to show.

Restart after the change.
