Microsoft Dynamics NAV has encountered an error

Hi,

Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an Enterprise Resource Planning Software. My friend sent me an error that he got from the software and I wasn’t able to help me. I couldn’t figure out the cause of the error. Can anyone here suggest any remedies?

The type ‘Option’ is unsupported for the min/max validation rule.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV has encountered an error

Hi Raymond,
The error is due to the Option Type Field of a specific table.
Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:-
1) Navigate to 'Properties' window of Option type Field, of the table
2) Check for the MinValue and MaxValue properties for the Option Type Field
3) If they have values, remove them and keep them Blank
4) By removing the value from these fields the issue would be resolved
