I have seen that the Yahoo! Messenger for iPhone has an SMS feature same as the one being used in PCs. But the Typing Notification feature is not visible (for example, John is typing a message…). I have tried the Trillion iPhone application and it does have the Typing Notification but on the other hand, it doesn't have the SMS feature.
Is there a Yahoo! Messenger for iPhone application which supports both features?

I guess there is. The feature should be in the Yahoo Messenger version 9.0 for almost all platforms including windows and Mac, and the iPhone. The chat feature is also available in the yahoo mail.
If you want to send an SMS using the yahoo messenger 9.0, you will need to simply right click on the contact that you want to send the SMS to and then choose the 'send SMS message' option. Just in case you do not have a mobile number stored for that particular contest, you will be required to enter since the SMS service has to deliver the message to a certain phone number.
You will just need to go to the actions menu and from there you will select 'send SMS message", and a menu will appear from which you will select the contact to send the SMS to, you will then choose the 'other contact' option to type the mobile number of the user.
