Windows movie maker cannot save the movie to the specified location

I have encountered some issue with Windows Movie Maker. When I attempt to save a project, this error message : "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that there is enough free disk space available, and then try again."
I wonder why this error occurs, since I know the files are still available and I checked my drive to where I will save the project, there is still 30 gig of free space on it. This is my first to come across this problem. I’ve never had this before and I was able to even burn videos to a dvd using the program. Can anyone give me some tips on this issue? Thank you.

Hi, I have a solution for your problem please do the steps below :

1. Go to  "Tools > Options > Compatibility" in Movie Maker.

2. And  unchecking all the filters ending in .ax

3. And try see what happens, try saving your movie as both a wmv and DV-AVI file

4. If you get an error with the first one your try and If that doesn't help and you have a large number of items in your project "5".

5. Then try breaking your project up into smaller pieces.

6. And see if you can save a movie in each of the pieces.

Hope you can save your movie this way.

Thank you
