Recently I have updated Windows 8 Consumer preview. My breeding animal of Windows Average has stopped working. When I try to execute it, it shows this message;

Setup _wm.exe-Bad Image

Setup _wm.exe-Bad Image

C:Program Files (x86)Windows Media PlayerUSERENV .dll. Either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0×0000428.

If any expert can resolve this error, guide me soon …

Windows Media Player not working in Windows 8

Dear PaulaDZigler,
This issue is due to your using the 32x Windows Media Player. I recommend that you install the 64x version of Windows Media Player which will have no conflict with the DLL files.
If you still want to proceed with your current version, you can install the latest DirectX which can also fix DLL issues.
Hope that this was helpful for you.
Best regards,
