Windows Mail Error: Pop Server Could Not Be Found

Hi experts ,

I was using the Windows Mail to make a reply on a Craigslist posting through their site, but I got a pop up saying that the transmission failed. The dialog box says, "pop server could not be found." I already set up my Windows Mail by that time just as how I have read from the instructions in other sites so as I can use it with my other mail accounts but still it did not work. Now, wehenever I try to send a message using Windows Mail, I get disconnected from my broadband service. What seems to be the problem in here? Please help me resolve this. Thanks.

Windows Mail Error: Pop Server Could Not Be Found

Hello Hana,

The problem here could be that the site that you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable, and therefore you will need to wait for some time and then refresh the connection again. May the site is undergoing maintenance and that is why you cannot access it.

But when it comes to the broad band disconnecting when you try to connect to that particular site, it sounds a bit strange. Could you just check the broad band modem and ensure that you are not out of credit, or maybe you are running on low credit which cannot be able to establish a connection?

Hope this helps.
