Why is my computer so slow all of a sudden

Why is my computer so slow all of a sudden. Before everything was opened quickly and the computer starts up quickly. But now even if I click on the start menu it take a lot of time to open it and also it take time to refresh the system. It was in my normal use, but all of a sudden this happen. Please help me to get rid of this problem.

Why is my computer so slow all of a sudden

The slow speed problem can be due to many problems. So you need to follow many procedures to solve it. Because it can be due to viruses or some application is using your ram etc.
Please do the following procedure to get rid of the slow speed problem.

Try msconfig and check is there any application that eating up your ram. Close that and uninstall it.
Scan your whole computer and check that is there any virus that causing slowing down your speed.

If the problem does not solve try to restore your system or give a try to a new operating system.
