• Microsoft Outlook can be described as personal information stored manager from the Microsoft and it is available in both as a separate application but also as the part of the Microsoft Office suite.

• Current version of the Microsoft Office Outlook 2010 for Windows where as Microsoft Office Outlook 2011 for Mac Operating System and although very often it is used as mainly an email application where it includes a  task manager,calendar, contact manager, journal and as well as web browsing.

• It can also be used as a stand-alone application or it also can work with the Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint Server for the sake of multiple users available in an organization which can be described in the form of shared mailboxes ,calendars and meeting schedules.

• In this there are also third-party add-on applications which can be used to integrate an Outlook with devices like BlackBerry mobiles and also with other software like Office & Skype used for the internet communication.
