Below are the features of websense:
- It introduces threatseeker cloud and extends security protection to third party solution providers
- It has video report covering Web threat activity
- Time Security Application for Facebook
- It has Saas Security which protects your network to Botnets
- Surfcontrol
The best part of websense is that it specializes web security gateway software. It enables to block access to chose category of websites. ISA Server and websense is almost the same but ISA server you can browse the intranet webpage with no issue.

Websense enables its clients to block accesses to certain websites. It is working hand in hand with facebook pages and other web 2.0 sites through the delivery of Defensio 2.0. It is a threat detection system which analyzes and classifies user-generated content in real time.
ISA server is part of Microsoft .NET support and is the successor to Microsoft Proxy server 2.0. It provides 2 basic services of an enterprise firewall and web proxy server.
Websense and ISA server can be installed on the same machine as long as it has sufficient resources. You may install all core Websense components or particular components.
