In setting up a J2EE based alternative for OHS. What are the accepted domains and will it be able to run under a software clustering application? I have checked the official guides but they cannot answer my queries. Can you please share some insights on this matter and what are the benefits or downside of this?
The domain that are accepted is the windows environment, an integrated environment of windows will be able to handle this kind of setting. Use Active Directory for authorization or access of users. Through ADFS technology from Microsoft you will be able to sign in singly therefore enabling users. It is single sign in flexible therefore enabling users to sign in because of the platform independent which provides for this. There is a provision for better Microsoft and Java integration therefore it creates no challenges. Because of Scalability it supports both the cross forests and cross realms. This is the best side of it all.
