I need to print a doc file but I always have an error when doing it. The error seems to be a problem with my connection but I only want to print a document. What it has to do with my network connection? My current IP starts with 129.105 and yet I'm still having this error. What should I do now?

Hi Martin,

The error message means that your computer is not connected to the network or may be an indication that you have not properly connected to the network of Northwestern. If you are not on the campus or using your network at your Dormitory, you need to make sure to first connect via the VPN of Northwestern before you can try to print a document. You can try to verify if your IP address is on the Northwestern network by going to the link http://www.whatsmyip.org/. If it is displaying that your IP starts with 129.105 or 165.124 then you are connected to the NU network.
