TeamViewer is not connecting to Master Server, how can i do?

I am using Teamviewer for desktop sharing. I have a LAN of 20 computers connected to Internet. I try to log in through teamviewer to access one of my client’s desktop but an error of Master Server is preventing me to do so.

I am using windows XP SP2. The error message is as follows; Please check your internet connection. Most likely you use a proxy server and you have to enter the proper information in the options dialog.“Retry” will be returned in 25 seconds.

I have performed the Retry operation several times but not fruitful result.

I hope someone help me about this issue.

Hay, If team viewer worked all except one then finally take the one which is not able to connect. But if you totally disconnected from them all then you have maintain another solution.

Now i have all this:

For one PC problem, click Team Viewer and connect to the partner. you need to connect both of them, enter the ID which is given the partner by starting run in Team Viewer. Id then click add. want to you partner password you will get it from partner desktop below the ID. i think your partner monitor will be black and then it works.

For your 20 computers. you need to connect the cable or WiFi line for add partner. you also do it same as above

See this picture if any doubt:

Hi,

To resolve that issue, you will first of all download ComboFix to your Desktop.

  • You will then rename Combofix unless instructed, and then close any open browsers.
  • After that you will close/disable all antivirus as well as anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
  • After that, double click on combofix.exe then  follow the prompts.
  • In case you get  a message that Combofix has detected the presence of rootkit activity and needs to reboot, you will need to write down on paper the list of files present in the message before you proceed and then post it in your next reply.
  • After that install the Recovery Console upon request.
  • When through it will produce a report for you.
  • Check the "C:ComboFix.txt" along with a new Hijack This log to see a clue to the cause of the problem.

Regards,

Carl

Since “No connection to Master Server” is displayed on top the dialog box and the message says “Please check your internet connection”, this means the TeamViewer application cannot establish a connection to the internet. You normally get this problem when the program is being blocked by the operating system. Here, it is possible that Microsoft Windows is blocking TeamViewer from accessing the internet.

You can fix this by allowing the program to pass through the Windows Firewall by adding it to the exceptions list. To unblock TeamViewer from the Windows Firewall, click Start, Control Panel, Security Center, and then select Windows Firewall. Select Exceptions tab. Click Add Program.

Select TeamViewer from the list then click OK. If TeamViewer is not listed, click Browse, navigate to the installation folder of TeamViewer, select the main executable (for example, TeamViewer.exe), click Open, and then OK all through out. Run TeamViewer and see if this fixes the problem. If it doesn’t, run TeamViewer as administrator. Right-click on the TeamViewer icon on your desktop, point to “Run as”, and then select Administrator.

Check if it works. If it still doesn’t work, uninstall TeamViewer and install it back. Also, try updating to the latest version. Visit Download TeamViewer Latest. Also try TeamViewer Portable. Use the supplied password to unpack.
