How to fix flash memory boot sector? I would like to know about how to troubleshoot or fix memory boot sector? Share with me your brilliant ideas regarding this matter. There are so many things we have to consider when it comes to computer and technology.

Steps on fixing Memory Boot Sector in Windows

I might have a solution on how to fix your flash drive.  

1.  Try to access your drive in another computer.  

     a.  If it works that's great, then move the data off to save the information.  

2.  Try TestDisk.  It is by CGS Security and I have heard rave reviews on this program.  It may be able to fix your boot sector without wiping your drive.

3.  If neither of these works, you may be left with nothing left to do but format your hard drive.  

     a.  Go into your Control Panel.  From there select Computer Management, then Disk Management.

     b.  Plug in your flash drive.  

     c.  Right click under the flash drive letter.  Double check the letter of the drive you are clicking on.  If you click on your hard drive to do this, it will erase everything.  Select format, ensure that it is FAT32 and select start. 

     d.  Once the formatting is complete your flash drive should be working fine.
