Sony Bravia NX800 HDTV shows white and red stripes

Hi, I have bought a Sony Bravia NX800 HDTV for my home entertainment recently. Two days ago it was raining and lightening out side. So I put all the connections disconnected. But when the next morning I put all connections on, my Sony Bravia NX800 HDTV shows white and red stripes on the screen horizontally. Can anyone tell me why is this happening?

Lightning is a powerful electrostatic discharge. It is an enormous flow of electricity from clouds. Buildings or tall structures directly hit by lightning may be damaged as the lightning seeks unintended paths. This also causes damaged to nearby equipment or electronic gadgets where magnet is present. As this attracts the current to flow into. Things will experience massive heat and magnetic forces. This intense force from lightning is intolerable to living and non-living this like our TV.
