I want to set up two servers in one VMware cluster but one of the servers has a problem. I keep receiving an error which states: “cmd addnode failed for primary node: Internal AAM Error.” As a result, the agent doesn’t start successfully. Can you please, advise a suggestion?

Sorry to hear you are having problems with your vmware.
1.) Move all the other guest machines to a different esx host (use vMotion/Migrate)
*if no go, shut down the guest machines (there's no other option)
2.) Highlight the defective esx host and right click it- and then click on maintenance mode.
3.) right click again, and then remove
4.) Create another host and continue on setting up the 2 servers
5.) Enjoy!
