If you are only using AVG antivirus, I think you need to shift to a better antivirus software like Norton Internet Security, Norton AntiVirus, Kaspersky antivirus, McAfee antivirus, Panda Cloud antivirus, and others. A virus is very hard to recognize and it can disguise itself into anything since it is capable of inserting itself into a file and start infecting from there.

With that error message, the folder described in the error is very odd looking because applications normally label folders in a very unique way and not like that, “VXXYCV”. I only see folders like that on installers but who knows maybe that folder is really in use by one of your applications. To make sure, update your antivirus and scan your entire hard drive.

As with my experience with using different antivirus applications, try using a different antivirus instead of AVG. If you verify that your computer is not infected, try navigating to that folder “C:WINDOWSsystem32VXXYCV” and see what’s inside. You can always find a clue on what program it is by looking at the files inside.

If you didn’t find any suspicious files inside, try restarting your computer and see if the error appears again.
