Hello guys,

I am Running Vista Ultimate SP1. Elements 7.0 has worked great for a month but now it has crashed followed by a “Runtime Error” which explains as:

Runtime Error- This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way

“Runtime Error!

Program: ..\Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0\Adobe Premiere

Elements.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an

unusual way.

Please contact the application’s support team for more information. ”

I have tried rolling back the driver. I also uninstalled and then reinstalled the software but with no luck. Suggestions are required to sort this thing out.

C++ Runtime errors usually occur after you install MS Office XP on your pc. It occurs when there are missing or damaged and unreadable files in your application. It could be the support for searching file which plays an important role in MS Office XP.
 
To fix this problem I suggest, as what the first step would always be is to troubleshoot. You should re-install your MS C++ software so that the missing or unreadable files would be fixed.

Hello Dear,

This type of problem occurs when the Run time files mismatch with the Library files of the Windows. Try this way to remove this

1. Navigate to: C:\Program Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\7.0\Locale\en_us
2. Rename MediaDatabase.db3 to MediaDatabase.old
3. Relaunch Photoshop Elements Editor.

You can also try to restore the system on the previous date when it was working fine.
