Hi John!

I'm assuming that the RobiNA application you're having trouble opening is being blocked by a security mechanism. In some versions of Mac, this security mechanism (called Gatekeeper) tries to block all the applications that come from different sources than the App Store or other trustworthy developers. RobiNA is mainly a Java application, so the Gatekeeper considers it a threat to the system.

A way to trick this program is not to open the application in a normal way (double-clicking it), but right-clicking it and choosing the option "open" from the list that appears. Then a dialog box should appear, explaining you why the application isn't allowed to run, and asking you if you still want to open it.

If you normally don't use other developers than the trusted one, you can turn off the Gatekeeper permanently.

In order to do this, go to the System Preferences and then to Security Settings.

Hope it's been helpful!
