Retrieving Or Making Of Windows Machine Certificate

An AD RMS certificate is available for use in windows 7, windows 8, windows vista, windows 2008 server, etc. The machine certificate identifies a computer by signing it into the pre-production or production certificate hierarchy. It’s important to make the machine certificate properly otherwise it can cause problems in your system. Typically, a machine certificate contains a few of proper contents which should be mentioned in order and that is-

A) Certificate type
B) Issuance date and time
C) Name and id of the issuer.
D) Retrieving location of the certificate
E) Principal ID, public key, security processor
F) Using the private key to create a signature of the AD RMS activation service.
G) Certificate chain that contains the server licensor certificate and one or more CA certificates.

These steps should be followed by the issuer of machine certificate. Certificate issued should be kept in these enlisted paths in your system as per your windows’ version.
