I am using Macbook OSX 10.6.8 and the Google windows on my Safari browser is only 3/4th of the desktop size. How can I resize the Google webpage to fit the safari window size?

If you want to resize the Google web page in the safari browser that you are using, you will need to use the procedure that follows:
First of all you will need to open the safari browser;
And then you will open the Google web page in one tab of the browser.
After that, you will need to drag the resize control icon which you will find in the bottom right corner of the window. In the image below it is labeled 13.

You will need to resize the window until it reaches the size you want. Note that when reducing the size of the window scrollbars may appear.
After you have resized, the window will be in a new size.
