Problem with Physx on NVIDIA GTX 690

Bought this new NVIDIA GTX 690 and love its performance, all games run very smoothly even at maximum settings but the older Batman runs with too much lag if physx is turned on. Does anybody have any idea what the problem could be?

Problem with Physx on NVIDIA GTX 690

Maybe that setting you set on the graphics card’s configuration is just not supported by the game which is also may be because of the amount of graphics or the quality of the graphics that the Batman game renders.

The problem here doesn’t concern your new video card. If Batman is already installed even before you bought your new graphics adapter, maybe you just need a fresher copy of the game’s data or files.

Try doing a clean installation of Batman just to restore it to its default configuration and fix any corrupted files that may have developed in the system since you first installed it.

Make a backup first if you have any saved game. Uninstall Batman then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Install Batman again and then check if this fixes the problem with lagging.
