Hello Techyv Users and Experts,

I have recently came across the fact that flash file stores cookies on computer and it is very difficult to get rid of these. I google to find some software to disable these cookies and found flash cookie cop. Now whenever I tries to install it on my XP PC it says permission denied. I don't know what's the problem. It can be due to crash encountered by my PC two days ago. Please help me out.

Hi Ses,

Sometimes our computer makes some unusable trashes like  flash file cookies. When you don't delete them they might slow your computer. So the best thing is to delete these  trashes or flash file cookies. For doing it just go to RUN tab from START UP menu and write temp, %temp%, Recent, Prefetch. When new window comes just delete the files. Hope it works.

Thanks!

Hi Ses,

Yes, Flash files do store cookies on your computer. As you are trying to install Flash Cookie Cop on Windows XP and it's not working for you, I suggest you to try this :-

If you wish to delete current flash cookies on your computer follow these steps,

Go to Website Storage Setting Panel

Click on Peer Assisted Networking Settings tab (It's the far right tab)

Click "Delete All Sites"

And you are done.

Now if you wish to prevent websites to store further cookies on your computer follow these steps,

On Website Storage Setting Panel click on second tab that is Global Storage Settings panel

Just set the slider to "none", drag it all the way to left.

Also please "uncheck" the box "Allow Third Party Flash Content to store data on your computer"

Now you are all done and safe from flash cookies.

Have a good day.
