Power Boost software has stopped working

My Power Boost software suddenly stopped on working. And it always shows an error every time I try to launch it. The error is stating:

Power Boost

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

What could be the reason for this? I tried searching for some compatibility issue but I am sure that Power Boost is compatible with my system. Please help.

Power Boost software has stopped working

Hey Claire,

The reason why your program stopped working correctly could be because your current plan settings are not well set. To fix this, if you are using Windows Vista or later, go to your computer’s power options and change the current plan settings by clicking on the “advanced settings” and expanding the processor power management section by clicking on the “maximum processor state” and changing it to some other percentage other than 100%. Through changing the max CPU state through the Windows NT6 power applet, Intel turbo will be forced throttle below the activity, which will make it enter into turbo state.
