My gamebox.exe just got broken. What I did to solve it is copy the same .exe file from another computer and replaced the broken file, but then I get this error message.

You cannot just copy the exe file, you also need to copy the other files.For example, if there are some DLL files or DAT files, you must copy those too.
What's more, if gamebox's data file is changed, you also need to copy the user's file, which records your played history.
