Hey friends,

When I try to update the Picasa online, I was stuck up with an error message. I tried it again after some time but I got the same error. I check the antivirus it is not blocking the update. Very confused, I am not a technical person. How I can update it without an error? Please help. Thank you.

You forgot to mention which OS and version of Picasa you are running. But I assumed you are trying to update your Picasa version 3.9 as this has been an old bug on Mac Mountain Lion OS X. Other issues related to this is that, the auto-rotate feature has stopped working. So you need to manually rotate your photos. To resolve this, try to go to Settings and then Security and then select Temporarily allow installation from anywhere.

Also, Google already released a new version of Picasa and Mountain Lion is now supported. Picasa version 3.9.13.29 is compatible with Apple's latest OS X 10.x. Now, if you are encountering this on Windows, try updating by removing the older versions or update to at least Picasa Version 3.9.16. Else, download the latest version from the link below:
