Hello friends, I am very much fond of playing aeria games on my system. I used the overwolf version for aeria games to connect with my friends during the game. I was running perfectly fine but now I have recently installed the original version of overwolf. Now I am experiencing a problem. When I initialize the installation process and I click on the installer, an error message pops up on the screen. The screenshot is shown below: Overwolf installer hat ein problem festgestellt und muss beendet werden.

I am unable to understand the query. I'll translate the problem for you as it is not in English.

Hello Evelyne,

That issue may be occurring because on a kernel error in your system. You will therefore need to verify that the version of windows you are using has support for the Overwolf version that you are using. Otherwise the following workaround should be helpful:

The error could be as a result of display issues, and you will need to fix it as follows:

  • On your computer click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  • Next you will click on Appearance and Themes.
  • And then click Display.
  • Go to the Settings tab and then click Advanced.
  • Go to the Troubleshoot tab and then move the Hardware acceleration slider control to the 3rd position and after that  click OK.

Regards,

Carl
