I am planning to buy a new version of Apple iPad but I heard that this version has higher temperature than the previous version, is this true? What are other problems found on this new version of Apple iPad?

The new 3rd Generation iPad of Apple though have a good start, it is really facing some complaints now as nothing in this world can be perfect.

Yes, what you have heard is true. Many users of this new tablet have kind of heating problem. Many already reported that while/after playing 3D games the temperature on the casing of 3rd generation iPad becomes abnormally high. When it is used as plugged in, the rear of the new iPad became about 12 degrees Fahrenheit (7 degrees Celsius) which is hotter than an iPad 2 in the same tests; when unplugged it became 13 degrees Fahrenheit (7.5 degrees Celsius). It’s also proved by thermal imaging test that the new iPad can become as hot as 116 degrees Fahrenheit (47 degrees Celsius) where iPad 2 reaches 112 degrees under similar conditions!! But if you use the tablet for a brief period you won’t feel such warmth.

If you live in US then you can go for iPad 3 Wi-Fi + 4G version. Remember this tablet is not capable of LTE frequency other than those used by Verizon and AT&T (700 MHz/2.1 GHz).

And if you live outside USA then remember this iPad is incapable to connect to LTE networks outside USA because the rest of the world is using 800 MHz, 1.8 GHz and 2.6 GHz for 4G. In this case, you can go for the Wi-Fi version only.

Many customers complain about its higher price comparing with other competitors.

Ultimately you can go for an iPad 3rd generation as many buyers claim this tablet as superb and very fast, superb internet speed with the 4G network and the Retina display and overall performance all have positive attributes.
