Hello! A friend of mine told me that I need to put my iPad into "recovery mode" in order to fix the issue I am having.  I am attempting to do that, but I don't know if I fully understand what to do. Can someone assist me with the steps to ensure I am putting the iPad into recovery mode? Thank you.

  1. Shutdown your iPad
  2. Hold down the Home button and plug your iPad into your computer via the USB cable.
  3. Keep holding the Home button down until you see a message on the screen telling you to connect you iPad to iTunes
  1. Release the Home button
  2. On iTunes you should see a popup window saying that your iPad is in Recovery mode.
  3. Click on the OK button

If you need to restore you iPad, just click on the Restore iPad button
