I have a windows 7 Asus CM6870 and I am getting bad intermittent sound. I replaced the sound card adapter from NVDIA GeForce GT 520 to Creative Sound Blaster Z SBX PCIE Gaming Sound Card System Version SB1502 but still have the same problem. I am currently running two screens, a 24” LED and an 18” LCD, which are plugged in the same video adaptor. I have a video on the MOB but have no idea on how to run them both at the same time. I would appreciate any assistance.

The bad intermittent sound you are receiving is not an issue with your adapter nor your graphics card performance. Some graphics cards are designed in such a way that their fan are not covered hence they the noise they produce is not contained. As a result they make too much noise. Hence changing the adapter or installing a software will not solve anything. The next time you are buying a graphics card, ask for that does not make much noise if you feel that the noise is irritating.
