From my pc to ipad overwrite problem

Hi all experts,

I have a problem. Problem is related to my iPad. I can’t send any image to my iPad from my computer. I need to copy some images from my computer to iPad but when I try to copy  the image it overwrites the iPad folders. One thing I need to mention, I can copy a whole folder to may iPad from my computer.

I need a solution, to copy the image files without over writing from my computer. I have a problem with the software.

What should I do now at this point?

Hi,

If you are using a Macintosh computer you might want to update the Operating System first. Just click the Apple on the upper-left corner of the screen and select Software Update. Let it finish all the updates listed. This should include iTunes, Quicktime and other programs. Once Updated, restart the computer and try to transfer the files again. Another solution is by using iPhoto. Access the applications folder and locate iPhoto, once you connect the iPad, you should be able to select the iPad under devices on the left side. It will allow you to transfer, edit, manage and delete files.

If all the steps do not work, you might want to consider restoring the iPad using iTunes. Just run iTunes and after you connect the iPad, click under devices on the left side and then select the "restore" button on the main page.
