My iPhone 3G becomes unresponsive

Asked By 40 points N/A Posted on -

Hello! An irritating problem I have. The touch screen on my iPhone 3G becomes unresponsive sometimes. The home button works so the phone isn’t stuck but touch doesn’t work at all. The touch works perfectly again if I lock the phone and unlock it.
I have no idea why this happens sporadically. It always works after a lock/unlock so I am thinking it’s a software error.
I request ideas from anyone.

My iPhone 3G becomes unresponsive

Hi Friend,

This will resolve your question with regard to your iPhone 3G. Below are the procedure on how to troubleshoot this kind of issue:

First, kindly press (long press) the Sleep/Wake button (The button on the upper right of your iPhone) then once you'll see the "Slide to Power Off", kindly slide the red button. Then, afterwards kindly long press again the Sleep/Wake button until your phone turns back on. Once the unit turns back on, kindly try to navigate again your iPhone. Now, if the problem still persists, you need to perform a hard reset of your device. In order for you to do that, kindly long press the Sleep/Wake button and the "Home Button" at the same time until an Apple logo appears. Don't slide the power to turn off just continue pressing the two buttons until a Apple Logo appears on your screen. Once you'll see the logo, meaning your device is resetting. Wait until your device turns back on, and try to navigate it your device. If the problem still persists, the last thing that you need to do is to "restore" your phone.
