Mobile camera red spot problem

Hey Alex,

    Your Nokia X2-01 has this problem which can be the outcome of several reasons. Sometimes it causes just a spot whereas sometimes it causes whole colored lines while camera in use.

Possible causes of this fault:

• The phone might have long heat exposure in front of its camera.
• The phone might have a software (firmware)/hardware (onboard) fault that goes for a proper repair from Nokia Care Center.

You can do the following easy to do steps to get rid of this issue.

Caution: (While applying the following methods you are highly recommended to backup your contacts/emails/messages etc and any other user data that you may think necessary to be backed up)

• Dial this code *#7370# and enter the phone lock code ( default 12345 ). The phone will reset and all the user data and factory restore settings will be applied.
• If the problem is still there then do download and install “Nokia Software Updater” and connect your phone with your computer. The NSU will automatically update the cell phone with the latest firmware available.
• If the problem is still there then phone must be having a hardware issue on board. Either phone`s camera module or Device Ram Module may be faulty.
