I am facing a problem while I am trying to install Microsoft SQL server 2008 R2 setup. I am not able to install this because of the following reasons.

SQL server 2008 R2 setup requires Microsoft .Net framework and updated windows installer to be installed.

Please to solve this problem.

There is a way to get rid of this problem.

You have to follow some basic rules.

You have to enable .Net 3 feature from MySQL server management.

After doing this you have to update windows to install the missing updates before retrying the MySQL server installation.

Now install your MySQL server 2008, it will not cause any problem.
