Laptop fell and it is constantly beeping till I switch it off

Hi there,

I accidentally dropped my Dell LatitudeE6230 and it fell on the side of the fan and went off instantly, now each time I try rebooting, I get the BIOs right then it starts this continuous beep until I forcefully  turn it off, what could be the problem and how can I solve it?

Hi !

When your laptop fell on the side of the fan it might have broken your CPU fan. You have to go with your laptop to an authorized service to run a complete check on all hardwares and change everything is broken. Is not recommended to turn the laptop on because you might burn something. It starts to beep the fan is not working properly or at all and the CPU reaches the highest temperature which warns you to turn it off.
