Keeps on flickering every time I play a game in desktop

I bought a new LG W2452V 24-Inch. I was able to use it and it is working properly in the last few days. Recently I tried to play a game. It keeps on flickering while playing the game. I did not install any device or software in my desktop. What could be causing this issue? Is it my monitor? Is it my driver? Can you tell me what is the source of this problem? Can you show me flow by flow procedure on how to resolve my problem with this monitor? Is there any way that we can still make it work? Or do I need to return it?

Please help me. Thank you!

Happy to support you!

Actually, this can be because of a bug present within the game or due to a technical issue.

  • First of all check whether the internet connection is strong enough & any personal firewall systems (if present), do not prevent you from connecting to the game servers. If not, ensure strong internet connections and try disabling the firewalls temporary.
  • Then, open Internet Explorer > go to tools- internet options > select the security tab > internet > custom level. Now, reset the custom settings into "medium" > reset > yes > Ok. At the end, restart the computer.
  • If this step also proves to be useless, then, uninstall the software and try re-installing the latest version of the game.
  • Verify whether all the wire and cables are connected properly.
  • Plug the monitor to a different power outlet & check.
  • Try moving the electrical devices away from the monitor.
  • Then go to Advanced settings & reduce the refresh rate to 70-75 and increase the resolution to the maximum level possible. now, restart the computer.
  • Click on the Monitor tab > Screen refresh rate > select the necessary screen refresh rate > Click on Apply within 15 seconds
  • Click on Start button > go to Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Adjust screen resolution
  • Then go to Advanced settings.
  • Click on the Monitor tab > Screen refresh rate > select the necessary screen refresh rate > Click on Apply within 15 seconds
  • If all these fail to solve the problem, contact a technician, since there might be an issue with the operating system.
